62 gr. Bear Claws?

Where can you get those?

in Texas..... whistle

22 cal deer bullets....
guess I am old school once again...like stuff that has been around because it works..

60 Hornady SP, 63 Sierra SMP, 70 Speer SMP....
guess Barnes have been around long enough now...so they'd pass my old stuff acceptance...

but then you're talking to someone who would be using 3031 or H 322 to fuel them...

I think on guns, & firearm stuff I'm lost somewhere between 1954 and 1974...

Not a bad place to be.

I've compared the RMR photos of the 62 gr. Fusions with the Gunbroker photos of the 62 Bear Claw. Although they look similar, I believe they're different bullets based on details like the position of the cannelure, etc..

Need more info on the Bear Claw if they are indeed different bullets than the Fusion.

Not sure if these are the same as the Fed Fusion offered by RMR.

Unless Federal stamps the base of the Fusion with a "T" like they do with the Trophy Bonded Bear Claw, I'd say no. There is definitely a "T" stamp on those bullet bases in those pics, which does at least lend some credence to them being a true TBBC...

Interesting.

The old originals were all stamped with a t on the base. One of the members here retired from the FBI. He says the Bear Claw is the best glass penetration bullet. I have some original 55’s. They will hammer piggies. I haven’t shot a deer, but I know they would be just fine.

Even if they aren’t the same, the Fusions are pig hammers, too.

Shortactionsmoker posted a few years ago about his experience with the 64 BSB but out of a Tikka bolt gun. Varget did the trick.

Here's where I get mine. Didn't know if you knew about RMR.

I'm shooting heavier bullets.

JB recommends TAC and Benchmark. I'd start with those. There are a bunch of choices that work well.

Thanks for the info guys, keep it coming. Didn't know you could get TBBC bullets to reload. I'll have to look into some of them as well. So many good options these days.

I think you have to find them as they're offered, don't think you'll see them in a catalog.
