That looks about perfect, I love my GG and a takedown would be even better. Does the smith make the large lever?, I need one.

I just loaded some 405 grain subsonic rounds this morning for my suppressor-equipped stainless guide gun. If it were a takedown, I would get a case to fit the rifle and the suppressor all in one container. Like Hadaway says on his site - "John Wayne meets James Bond". LOL He doesn't list the price of the conversion but I'm guessing it ain't cheap.

TexasShooter, anyone with a cape buffalo to their credit can easily spring for a takedown conversion. Life is too short to shoot a 45-70 that isn't a takedown.
