Back from Cleveland Clinic and in the recovery stage for a few days. I hope I can start easing back into it next week but we'll see. I figure if I'm ok to go back to work I'm ok to start doing light workouts. Definitely can breathe better but my voice is a whisper now. Doc said that as scar tissue forms breathing will decrease slightly and voice will improve. It'll take about 6 months to reach equalibrium.

Last load of oak retrieved. Had to split the big rounds into quarters to lift them and I bet they were still north of 100lbs. Looks like I got about 2 cords out of this tree

I've got $2k worth of T303 stainless shaft arriving tomorrow (would've been about $1500 prior to Trump's tariffs) for the product I mentioned that I'd won the rights to manufacture so, back to the grindstone I will go. I've been enjoying getting beastly with some oak in the meantime. smile

Yep! I've owned three of them. Now have two. That's the small one. The other is a 24", which I guess is still "small" in the big picture, but it's big enough for me.

My first one blew the top end. Was told maybe an air leak leaned it out. I knew something was wrong and kept cutting (was revving too high) so that's on me. I've been abusing the one in the pic for about 20 years at this point. It's on maybe it's third bar.... tenth chain.... ish.... gotta love 2-strokes. Can't be beat for utter simplicity and power/weight ratio.

I loved the half dozen or so I owned; really good performance, very few issues and they were easily the best balanced saws I've ever run

a very nice 4 mile run with Tiny E- about 70 degrees with a breeze

My steel got held up so I'm still cranking on 2019 firewood. Lost track of specifics but I went all day. Whipped.

Rode my age! Boom. Was worried my IT issues would knock me out around 30-35 miles, which is when it kicks in if it's gonna, but it was fine so I kept truckin'.

Spent yesterday chasing redfish and flounder around Oregon Inlet. Finally caught up with the redfish in the late afternoon on the flats, we were getting them on spoons in about 18" of water. Biggest was 30", they were a blast on light tackle.

35 minutes/ ten miles on the stationary bike and a few resistance machines today. Flounder and redfish tonight on the grill.
