We all know dogs try to give their owners information. Here's a study that has categorized 19 behaviors and what they "usually' or "mostly" mean.
Scroll down for the chart if you don't want to read alla that academic mumbo jumbo. wink

Did you open the link?

Scroll down to the 3rd chart.

It is not in a form that I can C&P the chart. It'll make sense once you scroll to it.

Downloaded the .pdf, zoomed to get the size right and used Accessories\Snipping Tool to take a screen shot.

You need table 2 to make sense of it. (Dog lifting a back leg means scratch me?)

Thanks , some seemed pretty accurate , I think it depends on how you develope your relationship with your dog . And how alert you are to thier actions . I catch a lot of communications my dogs are passing that a lot of others in the house either miss or ignore .
Being alert can drastically reduce accidents in the floor as most dogs that are truly cared for want to please and if you get that across they try not to do things , like boo boo in the floor . But there are some that are just a waste of time , like people .
In my 63 years I have had a few dogs . Most were good , a few I'm glad are gone .

Sure did see all of the dogs I have had and my current dogs behavior. Scientific study is always the best to prove something that I address all of the time. Very fun read and helpful.
