Alright dumb asses, time for reality... (Not pointed at you, dla as we all know you don't fall into this category. You're a dumb fugk. Much less advanced than a dumb ass.)

Anyway... The purpose of a semi-auto is to increase rate of fire over other manually manipulated actions. So to find any advantage to that premise you would assuredly want to shoot 10 shot groups to establish a standard.

Once you find an AR that can put 10 shots into a 1/2" at 100yds, you may be on your way to finding a viable 600yd, semi-auto, sage rat rifle.

And if you find that for sub-$800, please take video of your sage rat shooting.

This will be close without optic and mount but might be an option

Yes you have to put it together (very easy) but you get a very good trigger, a good barrel, a good bcg among other things (everything but the lower). I bought one almost a year ago and have no complaints. (I just joined after years of lurking hopefully this coming week I’ll get a chance to do the black rifle challenge and post results)

I don't have any idea about how vertically integrated Ruger is on all the parts that are in an AR.............but I kinda doubt that they make very many because of the uniqueness & their relatively low volume right now. Might change if they sell more.

But they have been making the barrels for their bolt guns for quite a while now, & they are generally pretty good, so I wouldn't be surprised that they make their own AR barrels.

Early Ruger rifles were outsourced & very eratic on accuracy, some good, some not very good at all so they brought the barrel manufacturing in house & it's been very good ever since..............early, mid-nineties as I recall.

Actually, they should post at least 2 - 10 shot groups.......................

Just going from memory, I don't recall any PSA's or Ruger's or BCR's (but the Ruger is pretty new) breaking the MOA mark in the Black Rifle Challenge, but as I said, that's just from memory, so I might be wrong.

But yet, if I go to PSA's website & read reviews on uppers, barrels or rifles, they are lots of reports of <MOA reports. (If the shooter does his part, of course)

I like the way you guys think. Multiple 10 shot groups is a good thing. Especially side by side and on the same target board, at the range. Like this one for example. Shot these with 3 different ar's though...
