Uncommon Carbine version of the Remington 788 in 308. It’s been hunted, has marks and lifted finish on the stock, and the rear sight has been removed (but they’re easy and cheap to get on eBay). Scope included - early Bushnell Sportview with a ballistic drop calculator dial. I’ve never seen one quite like it before. I have a bunch of close-up pictures of the entire gun if anyone wants/needs to see them. They can be texted or emailed. Must ship to an ffl who will accept the gun directly from me ( a non-ffl). What is the condition of the bore and has the stock been refinished?

Friend of mine has the twin to this one except in 7mm 08. Very nice guns. He has killed a bunch of deer with his since he bought it new.

It's a cool little rifle. I think the barrel length on the carbines is 18.5 inches.

What is the condition of the bore and has the stock been refinished? Sorry, just saw this^ The bore looks excellent. I don’t believe the stock has been refinished. The one picture I posted makes it look shinier than it is. The closeups I have show the finish much better.
