Been away for a long weekend of shooting. Should have stayed home and worked out. Going to do 30minutes on the rower while watching the Pirates.

Triathlon Saturday. 1/2 mile swim, 10.5 ish mountain bike course in which I wrecked 3 times , then a ~4.4 mile run. It was 15 minutes faster than last year, but I think the bike course was somewhat shorter. Swam last night. 1/4 mile regular swim then 1/2 mile of 1 minute intervals - 90% effort then 50% effort. Weather is crazy nice and the lake was crowded.

^ very true he’s figured out how to cut switchbacks, BUT when he gets ahead of me he doesn’t wait, he runs his butt off back up the trail to me- so much for saving energy

Sprained my <bleep> ankle. Not too bad, but ouch. I never sprain ankles; it was a freak thing.

Yesterday did day 2 of the PNWild workout, then took the pups to the dogpark which has a nice path to walk while having the dogs off leash. We walked about 2 miles and our youngest dog did about twice that since he satellites us as we walk. Upped the weight in the pack to 60 pounds for the morning 2 mile walk with the wife with the dogs, really feeling that weight as I walk, which is a good thing. Hope everyone had a safe and free 4th!

^ what’s the PNWild workout? not familiar with it Functional fitness for the mountain HunterYou have to scroll down to find it. It's a AMRAP workout for 15 minutes, and I find it great for in the morning when i'm strapped for time. I'll often add some box jumps, step ups, etc when I have more time. the 2.0 that is on their looks like a good one as well.

Just did the day 1 set of PNWild. It is the easy one from the looks of it and I was looking for air. HR was more than a little past of where they say I should go.

8 hours on my boat in the Pacific today. Ocean was FLAT but I'm still whipped. Full body workout out there. We slayed 'em. Fish cooler took two to lift out of the boat.
