Hi, I just bought this at the Friends of NRA banquet last night. It is designed for a youth and women gun. Nice hardwood stock, 6.5 pounds, 7-08 Rem. caliber, NRA emblem engraved on floor plate. I shouldered this and it really feels and handles well despite the smaller size. If you have been looking around for a nice light rifle, this is it. Nice rifle and 7-08 is a great round as my Daughter and two Granddaughters have them. Just be sure to shoot the barrel in.
