good evening fellas. I'm about to order my meopta meostar s2 angled spotting scope to be used 90% of the time for benchrest/sighting in duties. I have a primos trigger stick that I use for all my homebrew youtube vids thru iphone with various RAM products to secure said iphone. could I use my existing primos trigger stick tripod as my benchrest tripod with RAM products attached like a 1" ball threaded 1/4"-20 which is what the spotting scopes threaded hole is? would the trigger stick be stable enough for such tasks? I realize the triggerstick is too tall to fit on my shooting bench but I could place it to the left of my shooting table and lean over to check shots. I'm just trying to utilize what I have before shelling out more for a dedicated tripod for the meopta.
thanks,
Big Ed

A folding tabletop tripod might be better. If there is no room on your bench for the spotter, I'd go with a lightweight camera tripod beside the bench. It shouldn't have to be too expensive.
