For seemingly the 10,000th time, I didn't draw anything and will be slumming it in the general season.
My son (Rowdy) drew a pretty premium rut-hunt for mule-deer though, so that will make for a fun couple of weeks.

One of these years I hope to draw an Elk or good Mule deer tag. Put in with one daughter for mule deer and other for Elk, think I ruined their chances. But one got a cow tag and they both got extra deer.. Should be fun.

Extra doe for me and daughter number 1. I pulled a mule deer tag that will probably be a fun camping trip. Good luck to everyone!

We drew cow elk tags. Failed on deer and antelope. No surprise there. We still have lots of open hunts for deer so we're not out much. Antelope are one of the hardest tags there is to draw in Idaho.

Struck out this year, so will be doing general season hunts for deer and elk.

Just an unlimited archery antelope tag for me. Usually don't even pick it up unless I kill and elk early. Will be in the hills with the masses looking for 2 points come October.

Drew our cow elk tags. December hunt. Usually a very cold hunt, which is fine with me. Looking forward to it.

I’m jealous Mackay. I’m convinced I’m on the “naughty” list for IDFG.

I drew nothing this year. Going to hunt the general. My cousin drew 44 bull elk tags so I’m going help with that.

Pointer I drew the 44 buck tag 2 years ago. Amazing country. Hope to draw it again someday. Took 19 years for my cousin to draw 44 bull tag as a resident

Springcove- As a non-resident I drew buck and bull tags for 44 in the same year! 'Twas an expensive fall, as I made two trips from IN for the hunts. But, like you said, great country.

That’s like hitting the lottery. I hope to draw it again someday. My drive from Utah is a little less than yours was...

I tried to buck the 2 and 3% odds on deer and elk and struck out again...fine by me as lots of OTC opportunity exists. I will draw one of those tags one of these years, but on the off chance I don't I still get to hunt and I wouldn't trade that for anything.
Been trying to draw in Wyoming for deer and between point creep and not getting in on the ground floor I hope Idaho never sells out to any of those systems....give me true random every year.
My kids, especially one of my sons are much luckier than I. All together (5 of us) we drew two extra cow elk tags, one either sex deer and one rifle antelope. It will be a fun fall as we will take the opportunity to hunt general season elk and deer.

We gave up on bull tags years ago. My group of 3 has shot plenty of bulls. We hunt for the meat. Cow tags are far easier to get. Some units don't even fill for the 1st drawing. We've drawn the same unit for cows 4 of the last 5 years.

I drew for moose, but looks like I'm not going to be able to go. My wife finally went to see the Dr. about her knees and is planning on having one replaced this year. Looks like I will be her nurse. I don't want to give her any reason to get out of this, or put it off. She needs it done very badly.
