Better be careful. If word gets up to AC, be ready to repel the Swedes as they will attack and attempt to adulterate the poor thing with sugar.

Good timing. I just picked my first one yesterday and fortunately have a pork belly in the refrigerator to be smoked tomorrow. Cut a couple slices off the pork belly(curing since 7/4) and had my first BLT(minus lettuce) since I don't have any tonight.

I’ve had tomatoes for about a week, but now my plants are dying from the ground up. Don’t know if it’s a bug, a virus or too much rain. We had over 7” in the month of June.
If we live long enough, we all have regrets. But the ones that nag at us the most are the ones in which we know we had a choice.

We pumped water on these for a while Jim. Stop in in a couple of weeks, the Good Lord willing, I'll share some with you.

I’ve had tomatoes for about a week, but now my plants are dying from the ground up. Don’t know if it’s a bug, a virus or too much rain. We had over 7” in the month of June. Picked my first red tomato week before last. I have one tomato plant that's a good bit lighter green than the others and looking kind of poorly with one of the main stalks from the ground up drying up. The rest of it is still making decent looking green tomatoes on a couple of other stalks though. The stalk that is drying up stared to get a bunch of tiny little bumps all over it starting at ground level for first four to six inches up then over the next month or so the rest of it gradually wilted and dried up. All the same variety, all planted the same day. Some kind of parasite is the only thing I can think of.

Brother joined up with sister and I this AM. He brought a bag with ripe tomatoes, cukes , and squash. I suggested after business was done we go to my house foe BLT's. I had just finished smoking a pork belly Sat. so timing was perfect. 3 of us are rather full this evening.
