Are there any lightweight stocks for a MKV Weatherby?

Thanks for the help!

I don't think the Bell & Carlson Medalists are particularly lightweight but maybe lighter than Deluxe wood?

I have one from Proof Research and one from Pendleton Stocks. Both are nine ounces lighter than factory stocks.

I put a McMillan Sako Classic on my MK V Stainless, 6 lug 7mm-08. It transformed the rifle.

I recently put a B&C Medalist on a Mark V and it's around 3 ounces lighter than the factory walnut stock and gave it a slight but noticeable muzzle heavy balance. It's no lightweight but I do like the rifle better with the B&C stock...

That looks really nice!

Mine's a 9-lug 26" 257Wby with the injection molded stock.

It's a MK V , 7mm-08, 6 lug, 20" barrel, stainless carbine.

SS mark V were only made in the states as was the six lug. He would be a fool to take that bet. The flip safety should be a dead giveaway

I agree with y’all. Its just that the bolt shroud looked a little to long for a Mk V. If I’m wrong I can appreciate the correction. My Mk V has a much shorter bolt shroud. But, it’s not stainless.
