It was easily explained at the beginning. But JFC, have you ever seen a human being dominate the 24 hour news cycle like this in your life?
I think the anti-Trump faction of this world were never taught the whole "Bad press is still good press" adage.
Every now and then there's a small pause to discuss a storm, some chinamen stuck in a cave, or maybe a Croatian goalie, but then it's right back to the all Trump channel. Regardless of the channel...

Yep. First thing I saw this morning was where Stormy Daniels was arrested last night at a strip club for allowing a customer to touch her, contrary to local law. And that scumbag lawyer she has said it was a politically motivated set-up....By Trump. Bwhahaha!

If they had no worries about him, they'd make a few sarcastic jokes at his expense and move on. Now it is a non stop attempt to embarrass the guy, AND now the First Lady. Constant barrage about how she is leaving him, lives in NYC, has a body double, wears inappropriate clothing or whatever.

When Mueller formally requests permission from the DOJ to indict the sitting president, which he must do as DOJ regulations as currently written do not allow for this, the entire media world will cover nothing else for a year.
That Mueller will do this is not in doubt. Even if the DOJ says no it will trigger a formal written report detailing what charges were sought and on what proof. DOJ regulations mandate that this declination report be given to the majority and minority parties in congress.
This course of action is the only way to ensure that the American people see the facts, one way or the other.
