Post some favorite loads you’ve used in your 243 Fieldcraft.

Picked up this load from Jordan for my 700 custom: 41-41.5gr 4350 Fed 210 Lapua brass 105 HPBT
Been very accurate so far with 41gr, haven't pushed up yet and probably won't

Been very accurate so far with 41gr, haven't pushed up yet and probably won't My go to is 41.0 grains of RL17 under a 105 BTHP, with a CCI 200 and Win brass, and I have MuleDeer's magazine article on this rifle. I'm just looking for other ideas, proven in other Fieldcraft 243s.

What is particular about the Fieldcraft? I guess they all like the exact same load....

Lots and lots of .243 load threads on here.
Never needed a 3" mag box on a .243 especially with the 105 hpbt.
Screw you! I'm voting for Trump again!

Why not try some Retumbo, maybe about 48.0 gr. and a 105 Scenar? 4350 works but for my rifles Retumbo works better. Rio7

That is indeed a characteristic of the rifle that is appealing but regardless of that, each FC will likely be unique in what it prefers and where, like all rifles... You'll have to work up and see yourself regardless of what everyone else is doing... Good luck. It's the best rifle going...

I’m just surprised no one has yet suggested another chambering of the creed variety.

There are so many .243 loads available in a search it just gets old rehashing the same old stuff.
Especially since you already have a starting point with 17 and hpbt.
26 is good stuff and I might play with it and some 108 eld's or 110 Sierras.

Dandy, you’ll love the chambering too.
Ping pong balls for the win. Once you've wrestled everything else in life is easy. Dan Gable I keep my circle small, I’d rather have 4 quarters than 100 pennies.
Ain’t easy havin pals.

243 is just fine. I wouldn’t turn down a nice 6 Creed, but don’t think there’s some huge gap between them. I’ll probably be looking to upgrade my 243 in the not too distant future as mines a bit of a tank and shoots like it has an exceptionally slow twist. Loves the fast light mono’s though, so maybe it’s more about it’s bulk and weight. I’ll probably set my sights on something a little less exotic than a Fieldcraft, even though I’d love to have one.
