A bit of healthy fear is what keeps us alive. Ever watch idiots pass on hills?

First thought I had was my ex wife - divorced 13 years and still have nightmares. In all seriousness though, I'd have to say losing a grandchild would be my worst fear (I don't have kids of my own, or that would be it).

I don't fear death, per se, but I do fear a long, painful death (e.g., cancer or multiple sclerosis).

Nothing worse than losing a child... I lost my only son in 2009. I still struggle at times.

Incapacitated vs. just dying. Don’t relish anyone wiping either end for me.

Something bad happening to my kids

Living to be 85-90 trapped in a shell.

Would rather be hit by lightning or a large truck.

Other than the slow diseases and disability, the one thing I fear is my wife outliving me. She is at a stage where she could not be able to live alone and depends on me for a lot.

That we could all die at home in our sleep.

Or cities. Or crowds, or standing in line, or mountains, or corn fields.
