How about a 123 Scenar or 125 Partition?

Castle Rock and I have had totally opposite results with the 123's at 260 AI speeds, actually out of 2 different 260 AI's at 3090 FPS.

Ive taken about 10 different antelope, mule deer, and whitetail deer and had very good performance with them. Haven't had to track any and of them,

The 123 Lapua seem to perform about the same. I've only taken 5-6 deer, and antelope with them at the same speed.
I like and use both bullets in several 260's and 260 AI's

Tell me more please. I have a 6.5 Lapua that shoots the 123 scenes stupid accurately and have considered using them on whitetail.

After thinking about it, the bullet I was using could have been the123 AMax, it was a long time ago.

I've been hunting mostly 6.5's for about 5 years, From the 6.5 Creed to a 6.5 RUM. Tons of folks have a lot more experience than I do but what works for me is 120's through 130's for the middle of the road cartridges like the Creed, 260, 260 AI. Others are having great performance from heavier bullets.

Everyone seems to have a different opinion on what they want from a game bullet. The 120 BT, 123 Scenar, 123 SST, 125 Partition, 130 Berger HVLD , 130 JLK, 130 Scirocco meet my needs from the Creed through the 6.5-284 and 6.5 SAUM. Not to say that others don't work, I just haven't tried any others.
