I'm seeing these for sale at what look like pretty good prices. Anyone know who makes that scope? It will probably go straight to the junk drawer, but I'm curious. Also, are there other issues with them that should keep me from buying one?
thanks,
Okie John
If Montana had a standing army, a 270 Win with Federal Blue Box 130's would be the standard issue.

Okie John IMO, the no name 3-9x40 scopes that Remington puts on their package guns aren't worth wasting ammo on unless you put them on a .22 plinker.

I wonder if they make them with different specs for different customers. The unscoped one I saw at Dick’s was $550 I think, but it had a jeweled bolt and nicer finished metal than I remembered seeing in the past.
