My buddy just had a 6.5-280ai built. Looking for someone who has experience with this cartridge. He has a bunch of 130 accubonds and 130 Bergers. He also has RL23 and H1000. Anyone have any data??? Would be much appreciated

Hodgdon has 6.5-06 data on 130 AB's with H1000 on their site.

Dasher,

I can get you some info with both powders, but heavier bullets. My uncle recently built one and he has that rifle dialed in, shoots almost same hole at 200 for 3 shots. He bought the reamer from west texas ordinance. Shoot me a pm with email address and I can send you some starting points

60 grains of H-1000 with a 140 Berger is a great load in my 6.5-06 AI.

I just had one built and ran couple of ladders using the 143 eldx and 7828 and RL26. Didnt get close to what I think velocity should be which should be around 3150 fps. 7828 was disappointing but 59gr to 59.5gr of RL26 might be the ticket.
