I have a JM stamped 45/70 1895G with a ported barrel that I am going to sell. I picked this up on a partial buy/trade deal and don’t remember what I’ve got in it. Any idea on what a good price would be to start on these? I can post pics shortly

Also depends on what receiver looks after Leupold mount comes off. If there's any marring or can tell it once had a mount on it... You can deduct 100-200 depending on how bad. Collectors usually have issues with them having been scoped and rifle showing signs of it. Also, looks like the stock bullseye was drilled out for sling stud, that will hurt it some too. I've collected Marlins for over 20yrs and always have around 20-30 in my collection. I would fair price it at $450-600 depending on top of receiver condition.

looks like a bushnell banner scope so thats worth about 50 bucks or less. the gun itself is worth about 500 if in nice condition. those are
PA prices so online you may get more.

they are awesome guns btw. mine is a tack driver with factory loads.

Blue book shows a 1895G guide gun with ported barrel , ballard-style rifling , 4 shot tube mag , to be $625 100% condition. 98% condition is $525.
Then there are online bidding sites, you might get more, or less.
IMHO, it's a $500 rifle waiting for someone who wants a sore shoulder. smile
