When I pointed out she may be smart but is is dumb as a post with regard to real world crap, you deferred by stating she isn't any different than most millennial.

But when you hold someone like this up as bright and articulate and get called on the carpet for it. Own up your mistake. You are spending too much time with teenagers whose knee-jerk response is to deny and lie. that's not very becoming.

How many Mainland Chinese folks have you been around? Every one of the many I've been around (including three teenagers for a whole year) seemed to think of their government as a sort of benevolent uncle. 'Course, I've only met the ones they let out of the country.



A great many kids I have taught have survived though college, so I dunno how long the effects take to kill 'em.

I have actually traveled in mainland China, have you? A foreigner is under constant govt. scrutiny and any attempt to interact w/ the general public is closely monitored and has instilled palpable fear. Tiananmen Square was a demonstration of national love for "benevolent uncle". Had those kids you mentioned tried to defect or made public anti-govt. statements do you think their families would have felt repercussions?

You appear to live in a liberal fantasyland, if your fantasies/jokes include travel to the pedophilia/ forced prostitution capital of the world you might try to keep them to yourself.
