Antelope is on the near future list. I really didn’t have a desire to hunt them until I went to Yellowstone a few years back and saw them all over WY. Antelope is probably the most fun hunt I have been on to date with a firearm. I would love to do it again I smell a road trip

My last loper hunt 2013. Two days later we were running east on 90 trying to stay ahead of a monster snow. Gilllette is why I want to hunt antelope. When I was within an hour of there, everywhere we looked had them in a field. And some buck even I knew were big!

I hunted speed goats in SD, basically straight south of Hettinger, ND. The country looked like a nuke had gone off there at one time but it had critters. I got lucky on the draw and got a buck and doe tag the first time I applied. Filled both tags with a 7mm Rem Mag and 140 gr. Accubonds. It was a blast. After the shot. I’m sure I’ll see him at some point. He’s already helped me find some areas to check on the googles of the earth. I’d like to see him at some point since it’s been a few years.

Glad you finally drew. In our crew of six father-sons, all but one drew two whitetail tags each in Perkins County. I have been hunting deer there or in Harding County since the late '70's when tags show up in the mailbox.
You and Junior are in for a ton of fun...enjoy!!
