"These bulls are no joke. We have to be very careful." I learned that an Alaskan bowhunter was recently killed on the Island of Molokai while hunting Vancouver bulls so Kevin was obviously concerned for all of our safety.

I’m using a compound tho. Some day I’ll try traditional gear, but the extra range of a compound is sure nice when your after bigger bulls IME.

I wish moose hunting wasn’t such a rare opportunity in the lower 48. What you using in the Whelen? I liked my Whelen but never used it so rebarreled to a 280AI. It was a hammer with 250 Nosler and speers, also did impressive things with 225 Accubonds
