The Leupold Switch Power 7/12x32mm Switch Power binoculars are outstanding. They have excellent vision at 7x or 12x!
Also they are not clumsy or heavy like the Nikon7/35x35mm.

Where can I find these gems? None of the current owners would dare sell them. They are that good

You can't find new ones because they're no longer made.....they were a poor seller......because they pretty much suck.
It is irrelevant what you think. What matters is the TRUTH.

If that is the case why do the guys who have them disagree with your "they pretty much suck,"? Trying to get you of all people to understand anything would be a total waste of my time. Just guessing you don't know anyone personally who have them? I do, and these binos suck.

I am sure they're every bit as good a the Leica 8+12x42 Duovids. After all, we have two highly technical reviews so far, from optics experts.
Maybe Leica bought the design, then killed the competition--which is why the Leupold's not available anymore.

Mule Deer,
Don't they have a hydro-phobic coating?

This item isn't available on their online store, because they were discontinued years ago. The existing stock was blown-out by some wholesaler for about $400. Sav 99, did you even bother calling, or contacting Customer Service? Oh, wait.... I KNEW better than to bother asking THAT.....
