Lastime I was in the vicinity of any habitchi in use it must have been the late 70’s probably at a relative that lived in an apartment grilling on the balcony with Staying Alive playing in the background.

Smoky Joes with the handles are slick. Had one especially for tailgating at Raider Games 20 years ago. Got stolen during the game or maybe got used as a football. Hard to remember after those parties.

To be sure that Lodge is a Hibachi is version upgrade 100.0

Rotisserie chicken tacos.

With Johnny’s Adobe Tequila Sauce.

Costco was clearancing the jugs out for $3.99. It is so damn good I’m heading back tomorrow to see if I can pick up a few more.

Really enjoying this outdoor kitchen we set up.

Beer can chicken we had yesterday.

Bought a fancy thermometer you can use in the grill. Very handy.

With the left over chicken the wife made chicken nachos. No picture of that. Was consumed too quickly!

Cooked of course on the the grill.

Lots of elbow room for big dudes.

Is that the McCormicks Mesquite grill mates seasoning you put on them chickens? Saw it on sale at Costco thinking about getting a bottle.

It is McCormick but not mesquite.

Its called Sweet and Smokey.

Ironbender posted about something like this a while back.....but could not remember which variety of rub he used.

I thought it was the Sweet and Smokey so I bought some. Its got some cinnamon in it.

Family really liked it.

I would sure try the mesquite though if I found some. I like most of their stuff.

Probably keep and eye out too for that Adobo sauce you found at Costco. No idea where I might find a Costco....but I will see if its on line.
