Lefty I agree probably difference in case capacity. I have some new federal 270 win case that I got cheap. Found out
that the case capacity is really small. Most of my loads have be over a full grain less than Winchester cases.

Some of my best and fastest shooting handloads have been worked up using Federal brass.
