I've got a CZ 527 "American" that I'm going to have re-barreled to a heavier varmint contour. I want to match the contour of the CZ factory varmint barrel to make it easier to get a drop-in stock to fit.

I'm hoping someone here has a CZ 527 Varmint and can post the barrel diameter at the muzzle here.

I used to have a varmint in 17 Remington and 204 Ruger. I wish I had written the info down because there was a difference. The 17 Remington had a heavier contour barrel.

A 527 Varmint .17 Hornet's muzzle measures .745".

You probably had one of the early 204's with the longer barrel.

FWIW.....PacNor has CZ contours in their CNC memory so you don't have to pay for a custom contour.....least they did about ten years ago.
