Well the only place I've seen enough savages to have a festival about them was Wisconsin. So, I'm not surprised to hear that's where you're headed for this savage fest. And let me tell ya what....Most of the savages were women and they had on white jersey looking shirts with a #12 on them. They should be easy to spot. You'll usually smell them first. Miller Lite and sour kraut will hit ya before you see the #12.

Just got my antlerless tag for WI. It's been a long time since I've had one there. 2011-2016 it was "bucks only" where we hunt. Last year I got in line on the que they use and I was number 14K something for 500 tags.

Well, you guys are always commenting about the colouration of the Walters we catch. So I tried a different lake on Sunday ! Couple of nice 'eye from the weekend. Both solid 23" fish, 2 different lakes, 2 vastly different colourations ! Paul, the bottom one is more like what we catch here. Up by dave and rooster, they're perfect, golden color like most picture a walleye. I like the golden brown myself...cooked just perfect in the batter.
