Finally figured out how to share images.
I got this rifle from a buddy of mine this year. It was his Dad's when we were younger. I told him if he ever got ready to get rid of it to let me have first dibs. I put a Leupold VX-3I 3.5-10-40 on it. It is no long ranger, but will go with me on one of our shorter plots.

You might want to turn of your locations etc stuff on your phone. The picture has the exact GPS location of where you took the picture.

that looks like a BDL model, mine is a adl with a 2-7 redfield widefield. they'll do what you bought them to do.

This is the Mod 742 BDL "Deluxe". It has the basketweave "checkering" and a more "squared off" forearm, which is great for benchrest/shooting over sandbags or padded deer stand. The Mod 742 ( and its predecessor the Mod 740) was the "Ne Plus Ultra Deer Rifle when I was a kid. The Browning A5 3" 12ga/with 32" barrel, was the "shotgun to own" IF you could afford it, ha! I have also had a few Mod 7400s, and a couple of Mod 750s, along with Belgium Made BARS, all great in the deer woods! have a ball Pard!
