For Sale: Scope is a pre "mark" series 3-9x40 AO. Lenses are very good to excellent. Eyepiece housing has a bunch of little marks where a bolt handle was making contact., Ocular housing has a few small scuffs from use and one small ding on tapered part of housing, plumbing on caps. Other than those few cosmetic issues the scope is in excellent shape. Duplex reticle. Plumbing refers to the bluing turning a purple color with age. Pretty common on older Leupolds.

Good luck finding one for $150. In fact finding one under $200 is nearly impossible. I need to sell this one before it costs me $500 - It would be a great match for a nice old .22 bolt rifle.

I had one just like it. Sent it in for repair and got a call from Leupold. Could not repair and replaced it with a brand new vx2 4-12 with AO.
