Are henry rifles ok for the 45 colt 30k PSI loads? Anyone know? My buddy bought one and was wondering if he can go this route for deer hunting.
Thanks

Fotis, probably depends on the model; should email Henry and get it straight from the makers mouth. i would be interested in seeing their reply.

Of course it would even without asking. It handles the 44 mag.

Keep in mind that the larger case head will result in slightly more bolt thrust, but I think if you stay at 30 Kpsi, you'll be fine.
At that point, you'll probably be outrunning the .44 Magnum. 300+ grain WFN, don't fear anything....
