41 years, wow! Congrats.

I'm quitting in December after 29 years in uniform. One year between Provincial Parks and Fish and Wildlife. Twenty-eight plus years in municipal enforcement. So tired of responding to people's complaints. The negativity really wears on a person.

David,

First, thank you for your years of service. You've certainly earned your retirement!

Second, you're going to love that bike, I have no doubt. My son is drooling over the very same bike. He has conjured up a plan for us to travel west on a couple of those when he graduates H.S in the not so distant future. Enjoy it!

Thanks for your time and enjoy retirement. I may have over looked it, but I saw no pics of the rifle.

David Walter: I also wish to thank you for your service to our nation and am thankful you are in one piece after that long service.
I am in my 21st year of retirement (I retired at age 50) and am still going strong and enjoying EVERY minute and every day of my "rockin chair days".
I hope you stay active and enjoy your motorcycle to the utmost.
I live here in SW Montana after retiring and then immediately moving out of "taxington"!
I see those type motorcycles travelling not only on the freeways and highways hereabouts but on the remote back roads and sometimes on trails!
Do they have a generic name/classification?
I hope you can move out of taxington ASAP.
My wife and I both consider moving out of the state/city (Seattle, taxington) where we were born and lived all our lives (til then) as THE BEST decision we have ever made!
The stress free environment (extremely low taxes, NO traffic, extremely low crime rate, friendly and helpful neighbors etc) we moved to, not only has added to our enjoyment of life, but also to our longevity.
Please consider putting taxington in your rear view mirror - permanently.
Again thank you for your service and enjoy your well earned retirement.
Hold into the wind
