You never know what you are going to run into or need, but I end up with two options for different needs, One I carry is a leatherman. I don't especially need the one with the most tools, but I carry the Wingman. But you never know when you will need something bigger and I see where Buck has come up with their Ka-bar version. https://www.amazon.com/Buck-Knives-0119BRS1-Brahma-Compatible/dp/B00RQ7W6O8
It's tough to decide on Ka-bars as the quality varies. With this one they use a variation of the Buck 119, which is a great blade, but the black phenolic handle gets slick when it's bloody. Buck handles that with this version.

No point in dramatizing this I guess. Just want to point out Buck has brought out a nice version of a Ka-bar knife, which I think is pretty nice, for many uses.

I don’t have such a bag as I ain’t goin’ anywhere.

But I ain’t got any objections to other folks having such a bag. Matter of fact I laud their efforts to bug out!!!

Where would one see those?

Price?

Like you, I don't worry about a bag knife. I carry it in my pocket everywhere I go.

I own a few mil spec K-bars from my active duty days. They are super sharp and tough. Works good, last long time.

That's a light duty knife and I'd seriously reconsider if you think that's a worker-bee class blade.

I'm not buggin out anywhere. I live in the middle of 250 acres, one bridge in- at the end of a dead end road. We don't get hurricanes, negroes, antifas, mudslides, blizzards, forest fires. I'm where I want to be if New Madrid pops.

Got a buck 110 in truck in case the pull tab f ucks up on the viennas in the dove field. Tragedy insurance

I never use that knife. I carry a 2.5" Gerber lockblade for actual cutting chores.
