Tonight's casserole came out OK. Looks preety good and tastes good too:

That does look good, and I'll wager it was good.

Tri tip steaks on the grill.

Put them on the hot grill, go to med+. Salt and pepper after ya pull them. Tri tip is one of those cuts that, imo, benefits from being cooked to med or a bit more. MR or rare tri tip is a chewy SOB.

Mushrooms sautéed in butter and steak drippings with a dash of Worcestershire sauce as a topper.

Baked tater.

Green salad.

Got damn!!!! It’s good to be alive!

Pizza Hut before the fire meeting.

The kids like pizza.

Wife had a chicken parm sandwich....she said was quite good.

I had the standard. Buffalo wings, bread sticks and a trip through the salad bar.

I don't mind it, but it is at its best the next day - cold, sliced, in a sandwich with Miraculous Whip (please see signature line #1), salt, lettuce, and a slice of tomato.

Especially if the bird is a turkey that came off my smoker/grill!

I love turkey legs, chicken legs, pheasant leg........................etc.

Guess one might say I'm more of a leg man than a "breast" man? grin

Geno

PS, I have nothing against breasts either..........might be time to visit the newest BTE! laugh

Not dinner but I made Biscuits and Tomato Gravy for breakfast.
I'd never heard of it but I ran across a recipe the other day and had to try some.
Boy am I glad I did. It's a bit of a PITA to make due to all the ingredients but well worth it.
I left the Bacon I cooked to make the drippings in the gravy (who in their right mind wouldn't) and omitted the Celery Seed because I didn't have any but it didn't seem to hurt it.

Any of you southern boys make Tomato Gravy.....if not you should.

I bought some boneless skinless Chicken thighs a while back thinking it would be easier to shred for soup. I won't make that mistake again....it dried out something terrible even though I covered it with foil while baking.

I guess that Tomato Gravy's a Southern thing Jim cause it was new to me too.

We're in the 40's at night and mid to high 60's during the day.

National weather service says it's gonna be that way for the next week.
