I just learned an old college buddy has died. Ray Franklin Patton was rendering aid to accident victims when he was struck and killed by a passing vehicle Feb.4 2018.
Ray served three tours in VN. He never talked about his service though I knew he was an AF electronics tech who spent some time on a mountain in Laos.
We graduated together from Northwestern State University in December, 1974.
Goodbye old friend.
