Finally got to try some , had to order it from the net . Tried several local shops , most had no 444 and none had the SP stuff . So internet it is . As ya'll said , the stuff shoots good . Going to order a few boxes , that will do me for the rest of my life . Am anxious to pop a deer with it this year . Kenneth

I have the same ammo for my 444 (a CVA single action not a lever action). Bought the SP online as well. It is very accurate, though like you I'll be using it for deer season for the first time. I bought enough to last me a long time. If I ever get time, I want to chronograph what does this ammo does from my 23" barrel. Enjoy.

Yep that 265 gr SP was designed for the 444. I handload the same bullet a little milder and it it accurate and works well on any critter that it meets up with. Hogs really hate it.
