Handled one today at my local Gander--along with a Browning Maxus and Win SX4...the V3 is hands down my next shotgun for upland and occasional waterfowl...unless there is a curse somewhere. Anybody have any big No Nos on this gun?

I had the chance to shoot some skeet with a V3 when I was in the market for a new field gun and really liked it! Was ready to pull the trigger (sorry for the pun) on one, but I found an incredible deal on a Beretta A400 Lite that was too good to pass on, otherwise I would own a V3.

Put me down as a yes vote for a V3. I just like the Beretta Lite better for the Pheasant field.

I bought a very nice used one earlier this summer. I really like it but I don’t shoot it near as well as I shoot my 390. I hope I can fix that. It likely just needs more range time! grin

How are they in weight?

I purchased the base model V3, fourteen months ago for $299.

Very light, but does not add to the recoil. Lighter recoil than my 1187.

Added a camouflage sticker set from Mossy Oak. Easy to apply and looks good.

NO tools needed to disassemble and clean, including the bolt.

Uses the same chokes as 1100/1187/870, so, shop around for very affordable chokes.

To date, have run numerous 2 3/4 7.5's and 100 3" with no issues.

BUT.....NEED to clean this action after 3-400 rounds. Have tried multiple types/brands of lubricants, including dry lubes. STOS seems to be the favorite that I use in everything (and a minimal amount at that!).

I think they go 7.25 lbs +/-. Seemed lighter than the Maxus and better balanced than the Win SX4 when I had a chance to handle them.
