That's gonna be a heavy rifle for a 12 y.o. I'd look at the Tikkas or the Winny above. But that's just me.

Did they make this in this caliber? I’m not aware of any early sakos in 6.5x55? Maybe the stoeger era in the 80s? Length of pull would be pretty long for a kid I’d think.

Thanks for the replies. I got to thinking about the weight and length of pull and weight after i posted. The lad is 5’8 barefoot but i forget about lop and weight for somethings. Good points taken.
