Not factory, but custom, my Brux 257R on a 700 LA is throated to make good use of the extra action length. I'm loading beyond the SA 2.8" limit.

DF, are you still loading with Hybrid 100V and if so, do you like it?

Yep. Clean and fast in the Roberts.

It’s my go to 257R load, got it from gunner. H100V isn’t the most temp stable powder but it is the velocity champ in this round. I don’t hunt in sub zero weather, so that’s not an issue for me. This load is a real WT and hog killer. Those TTSX bullets at 3,250 fps really do their stuff. Sort of a 25-06 lite. And my rifle seems to like this load. Deer and hogs not so much.

I'll try the Barnes 100 TTSX and may try the Hornady 110 ELDX.
