And a pawnshop rescue. New Haven Classic in 30-06, G-prefix 5-digit SN, Bansner stock. Got it for less than the cost of the action and added the Leupold VX-R 3-9x40 with Ballistic Firedot reticle. Winchester factory 180-grain PowerPoints chronograph at exactly 2,700 fps, which is gratifying. The money-shot paint job has since been covered up with matte finish olive drab Krylon.

There's a marked shortage of fence posts in my life these days. I need to do something about that.

Not quite a fencepost, but a bench. My latest 6.5 Creedmoor in 257 Roberts...

Nice Creed Shrapnel!

Looks like you've got some rust started on that bolt shroud.

Creeds commonly rust there, so maybe don't worry about it.

Screw you! I'm voting for Trump again!

Built by Maurice (Mac) McCain who worked for Paul Jaeger. Mauser action, Douglas Supreme barrel, Bastogne Walnut stock, Niedner buttplate and grip cap, Ebony forend and Timney trigger. It was built in 1980 and had never been fired other than test firing until I got it...
