Good morning - I tried to start a Savage kill page for 2018 after seeing fishdog52's moose pics, but flopped - I built it in the image gallery instead of over here where it needs to be. Anyone know how to get it slid over here? thanks!

Hi all, after seeing Fishdog52's moose post, I realized we need a 2018 Savage Kill Page. So I will kick it off, here are a couple pics of Saturday's Wyo Speed Goat hunt, with my grandpa's 1949 vintage 99 EG in 300 Savage. About 125 yds, 1 shot kill using a Redfield 70LH peep and a Lyman gold bead front. Looking forward to seeing more 2018 harvest pics!

open two tabs, one here and one in the gallery
right click on your picture in the gallery.
copy image address
type
clear as mud???

Nice! Would love to get back out to Wyoming to get a few does for the freezer, but can't squeeze it in this year.

250-3000? Or 300?

Kinda look like walleye?? But if so they’d be the biggest damn ones I ever saw, and only in pics at that.

They are walleye, also commonly known as “Marble Eyes”

Fantastic eating fish. They are in the Bay right now so we have been putting gold colored Husky Jerks in front of them. People have been getting some really big ones lately. Guy in town brought up a 30 inch fish a few days ago. That is a big, big walleye.

Caught a 28" walleye almost 20 years ago when I fished in the spring with my brother. BIG fish, big fight. Those are nice looking, and boy they taste good.
