That only makes you double gay!
I was thinking more like two negatives make a positive. I'm never not going to like silver scopes (who was it that always like using that in his posts?)

Just put a Zeiss Diavari-C 1" 3-9×36 T* SILVER on a stainless rifle with lightweight silver talleys. I must be delirious.

I won't be wronged. I won't be insulted. I won't be laid a-hand on. I don't do these things to other people, and I require the same from them.

I have a silver VX 3 3.5-10x40. Hardly used . Nice clear scope. Its in its original box in my closet next to my thin ties awaiting for both to come back in style. I bought it when I was going through my stainless encore phase.

I spoke with Meopta in Czech republic and have some Silver MeoStar R1 4-16x44 Z II Plex scopes on the way and I got them coming for only $799.99. This scope, black, normally sells for $1,099.95. In Silver @$799.99 this is a find.
If you're interested please give us a call, 516-217-1000, and I'll reserve one for you

Well we're Green and we're Gold, and we play better when it's cold. All us Cheese heads have our favorite superstar. We love Brett Favre.

I will only put a silver scope and silver bases and rings on a silver barrel. I don’t care if they are not the same tones. There are fewer silver scopes being made. At the worst I suppose I can always paint a scope, bases and rings silver in the future.

At some point in time, the internet decided that the 270 Winchester was gay. The same thing happened to silver scopes. However, both get the job done well. It just depends on whether or not one allows the internet to make your decisions on such matters.
If we live long enough, we all have regrets. But the ones that nag at us the most are the ones in which we know we had a choice.

I have a silver Meopta Meostar on a SS Tikka. The scope has black accents making it look great with the Talley rings. And, the barrel finish is a perfect match to the scope.
Glad idk it wasn’t cool. Especially considering that Tikka is a .270. I’ll have to stop liking it now that I know better. LOL!!!
I do get the too bright for the woods thing though. It’s like a light saber.

Yes they did quit making them, thank God. Seeing them on any rifle causes my eyes to hurt. RJ

Preach it Brother!
When it comes right down to it, very seldom does any scope make any rifle look better. Regrettably, iron sight are getting hard to find as standard equipment, and even worse, I can’t do much with them past 100 yards. I’m back to playing with See All sights. Have one on my air rifle, one on a .308, and one on a .44 magnum Low Wall. Another arrived yesterday for my .410.
So far so good, but watch the Classifieds for a See All Clearance Sale if the experiment fails.

Silver is not Tactical, so it's not going to sell. When scope manufacturers learn to term it Sniper Grey they'll sell like hotcakes.

Pappy, good luck with the "See Alls". I keep hoping that soon I will see a technical break through that will give red dots a dot image as sharp as a prism scope for old eyes with the feather weight of a micro red dot sight. I suppose the Bushnell Li'l P does that now. I would like a larger lens but the Bushnell does work. I'm still using mine. RJ
