Never quits itching. No thanks. And, it ticks me off getting it hung in my jacket zipper. None for me, thanks.
By the way, in case you missed it, Jeremiah was a bullfrog.

If he could find a cat brave enough, it could probably lick that off, or maybe try a wash cloth...

I've had a mustache since I got out of high school. It's about 10 inches long right now. Gals can't seem to leave it alone, I have to keep telling them, no free rides.

I can't remember the last time I used a razor. I wander out to the pasture sans shirt with my clippers and coffee and put on a show for the neighbor ladies trimming my beard and hair.
I keep it short in the summer and longer in the winter. Last winter I grew out a biker mustache. I haven't decided what I'll grow this winter but I know it'll be grayer than last year.
What would Porter Rockwell do?

After four or five days growth, it has to go. Growing it out would drive me nuts.

Did three years in Afghanistan, back to back combat tours, assigned to advise ODA’s in the eastern border AO. Those heathens have little respect for much, but they do respect both age and beards. At the time, being 58+ I had a full, long beard. Saved my ass twice: “Ah, Spin Geery ( gray beard) we will kill you last...” Fortunately my Team and a brace of Apaches had other mission sets. Now back home for good, House Hold-6 is fine with it, but I do keep it trimmed.

Grew a beard for the first time in the summer of '68, had it on and off for a while after that. I have had a full beard practically continuously since growing one for the Bi-centenial in '76, sometimes trim it into a goatee always keep it neatly trimmed. For the last several years it has been snow white.

LOL, just getting in from helping a neighbor put up some cows that got out, seems some dipchit hit the fence with a pickup. anyway, spooled up and cant sleep just yet, sure glad I logged in and read this thread. Yes, I've had trimmed a beard or goatee since I could grow one, I was unlucky enough to be born with a buttcrack slap in the middle of my chin, I hate the damn thing and hate worse trying to shave it, so I grow whiskers to hide it, life is good.

I trim mine every time I get a hair cut so it doesn't get too long.

I grew a beard out in Nov. during my time off work for back surgery, itched like hell. SInce leaving AD military, I have tried growing it out twice, 8 days is my limit as the itch doesn't stop. I am down to shaving my head and face now about every 5-7 days.

I'd guess about 30% of the posters here have them.
And I ain't talkin' about facial hair.

I have worn a beard for the past 30 years or so. Cut it off once, and grew it right back

I have had a mustache for a very long time. I worked at a job for over thirty years and they never saw me clean shav3n. They never will. I cannot grow side burns even when I let my beard grow. I let my goatee grow without cutting it for a couple of years. My girl friend did not like the long chin hair. Maybe I will grow a full beard for hunting season.

I keep one from fall until it starts getting hot. By then, I'm tired of trimming it and still having to shave around it

Apart from when I was working as a stock broker (and the boss, upon hiring me, told me "of course you realize the beard has to go"), I've pretty much had a beard my entire adult life of one kind or another. Currently, I'm wearing it tradition, with a bit of length increasing toward the chin, close on the sides.
