I made another batch of King Ranch Chicken Soup.......I love that stuff. The Ro-Tel and corn tortillas really set it apart from other Chicken Soup. Would have probably been even better with home made tortillas but when I went looking for some Masa at Wall Mart they said some crazy hermit rancher over in MT was hoarding it all. Leftovers tonight...............and they were just as good as last night.......
Pork chops with apples and kraut! And a coupla slices of homemade marbled rye.
Only thing coulda made it better would have been some caraway in the kraut and bread, but my wife hates the stuff so I do without...................until she's on a business trip or such.

Ancient grain, I quite like them ! Goes well with my non GMO, antibiotic & hormone free, deer burger, homegrown tomatoes & onions, farmers market pea sprouts & Balderstone old cheddar !
