I haven't found one yet that won't do moa or better with a good scope, trigger job, and handloads.

My Remington 700 bdl 7mm rem mag will do 1/2" groups with several factory & handloads. My Rem 700VS will do the same. Both rifles are dead nuts reliable.

I have a M70 w/ BOSS that wil also do 1/2 " to 3/4" groups. Hate the looks of the BOSS but do love the results.

All this said, all of the fatory rifles that I have kept will do at least minute & a half accuracy. Plenty good enough for hunting. This consistes of M70s, Mark Vs, Ruger 77s, Savage 99s and Ruger No1s.

This one. Parker Hale .30/06. In a fit of madness I traded it for a Ruger 77...

If we were gonna' shoot for a buck or a beer I'd probably grab my 1961 .308 Sako Forester. That thing has been a tack driver for 46 years and will surely outlast me.

For shizzles and gizzles I'd grab my Ruger M77MKII .22-250 laminated varmit rig.

I haven't found a load yet that goes over an inch, factory or reloads.

My Model 600 .308 is like that. Just bug holes everything, even cheap Winchester white box factory stuff. I love that little bugger.

547, The TRG-42 has shot 3-shot 3/4' groups at 300yds and the TRG-22 has shot 5-shot 3/4" groups at 300yds.
Natuarally it was when the wind was cooperating and not blowing 30 mph like it often does at our range. But in calm conditions they will both shoot into one ragged hole at 300, when it's windy they shoot weather reports....... smile .............DJ

Ruger M77R 243 Win purchased around 1983. I did absolutely nothing to it except handload. With the first load I tried, consisting of Win 785 powder, CCI primers, and 100 grain bullets (Sierra IIRC), I could shoot 3 holes at 100 yards that you could completely cover with a dime with a little room to spare. It was my wife's deer rifle at the time. It wore a Tasco 3-9x40 scope.

The most accurate out of the box rifle that I have ever owned is my Blaser R-93. I have 4 barrels (243, 308, 30-06, and 375 H&H), and all shoot MOA or less.
