We always have a good time when we are able to come out and hunt. My hunting buddy and I came out last week with 2 doe/fawn tags each and managed to fill them plus shoot a few pairire dog .

We left home and last Wednesday morning a 4 AM and arrived at the campgrounds at 11 PM. We slept in the truck that night then woke up early and set up camp. As soon as camp was set up and after eating lunch we went hunting and managed to each take a doe. Then the next morning we finished filling our tags.

For those interested in such my rifle was a 7MM-08 Kimber shooting 130 grain Speer SPBT bullet with 45 grains of IMR 4064 and Federal 210 primers in Starline brass. My hunting buddy was using a Ruger M77 in 25-06 with Remington 100 gr factory ammo.

I didn't think about pictures the 1st day but here is 3 I took the 2nd day.

I know that camping spot.

I've camped in it.

Congrats! That’s what it’s all about....fun, friends, camping and hunting! And, if you kill something....all the better! 👍 memtb

That's why I go every year. Antelope hunting is just plain fun and it is beautiful country. Although there aren't many people, the ones I've found have been really nice as well. Wyoming is a great place to spend time.

Headed west today for the same stuff. I really like to see stories of people that are truly going for the hunt, and not just chasing horns. You guys rock. That is a great-looking camp that you set up.

That looks like you fellas had a very good time. After six years of no big game hunting at all, I'm planning on a Pronghorn hunt next year with a buddy of mine in Idaho. I believe he mentioned around Pinedale, Wy. In that area anyways. Looking forward to it.

Prior Flats Campground makes it nice hunting that area. I drew a Area 47 buck tag in there again this year. Aren't alot of giants in there, but the numbers are always good. You ever hunt deer in that area?

I have never deer hunted Wyoming. I have seen a few bucks in the area but nothing that stood out. I did see a nice 4x4 one evening right at dark coming back from the Miracle Mile but it was on private ground.
