Had some time over lunch and went to the Bushnell Outlet. They had the following on closeout.

Elite 4500: 2.5-10x40 w/ Multi-X reticle $220
Elite 3500: 2-7x32 w/ Multi-X reticle - $114

Worth the money?

Not a bushell owner, though have in the past.
The 4500 seems high to me.
The other not a bad price.
I’m just hip shooting here.

The 4500 2.5-10x40 is one of my favorite scopes and outperforms many that cost a LOT more. At that price, it's worth picking up at least one. They are clear, bright, rugged and are relatively light. The hydrophobic (or whatever they call it) lens coating is valuable in some situations and to my mind, 2.5-10 is an ideal range for an all-around hunting rifle. One man's opinion.
