Gent's,
This is my first foray into the 30mm scope arena and I'm looking for a reasonably priced option on a base and set of rings for a NF SHV 3-10 scope. I don't mind spending a little extra money for quality and strength, but wasn't sure if the type of money NF is asking for their rings would be required. Anyway, the scope will most likely be mounted on a 257 Weatherby Custom(Vanguard action). I'm also considering mounting it on a Tikka T3X-6.5 Creedmoor. Any of you Nightforce junkies able to recommend a few different options that would work well for my type of application?
Thanks All!!

Thanks All!! I’ve probably seen every mount that will be suggested. Hit the easy button and go straight to Sportsmatch TO84.

I was told by them on the phone that using any rings besides night force rings would void the warranty. I use night force rings. Vortex precision rings are also very nice.

As "Akpendude" said, "Mine is mounted with the nightforce ultralight lows on a warne mountain tech rail". This set up is on a Tikka T3X Superlite 6.5 Creed. I also have the rings on a LAW .300 Winny, but used the 2 piece Picatinny bases that came with the rifle, as I did not want a one piece rail over the magazine of the LAW rifle, because it's design is different then the Tikka and it would not enhance loading the magazine.
On solid top receivers, like the Tikka with detachable magazines, I am ok with a one piece base, since it does not matter when it comes to loading the rifle.
Both sets of rings are the low height rings, the LAW has a 30mm Bushnell 4.5-18x44 scope and the Tikka wears a Leupold VXR 3-9x40 Patrol scope.
The Nightforce Titanium rings are well built and ran about $165.00 a set!
So if your rifle is built like I think it is, I would want a 2 piece base.

I go to Walmart for all my firearm and sporting goods needs. They really take care of you. There is usually the best made in China wares already on the racks or hidden behind the counter somewhere. Laughing.....

My last scope was mounted in TPS TSR aluminum rings on top of Burris Xtreme tactical two piece bases. The burris bases are picatinny rail spec but two piece so they're light and don't interfere with the loading/ejection port. The TSR are light and well made while still being picatinny spec. The setup is very strong and I like it a lot, I'll be using them on more hunting rifles.

Go with the rings Form recommended, or if you want picatinny just buy a quality name brand rail and the Burris extreme rings, either with or without inserts are about as good in cheaper rings as you can get. Other than that,I would buy a set of Seekins rings,

Talley Med LW on a SA. You'd probably need a rail for a LA, unless you really like a forward mounted scope. I don't. DF

Talley LW Lows on a short action. Warne Mtn Tech rings and Warne Maxima 2 piece base on a long action.

Thanks for the great input! After considering all the options you guy's threw out, I decided on the Sprortsmatch T084 setup. Unfortunately, I can't find any!! Tawnado Airguns in the UK doesn't have them and neither does the US distributor, Airguns of Az. I'll probably go with the Warne 14TM one pieces or the Talley LW's.
