If you don't find a Whelen, I have a .30-06 in good shape.

I'm looking for the same. These folks are supposed to get a special run of them this month. They told me to watch the website and they'll be listed the day they arrive. He didn't mention the configuration but the last one I saw from them was a blued carbine with synthetic stock. https://www.gricegunshop.com/

They have the 7600 Carbines in .35 Whelen on the front page for $629.95 with blue and synthetic stock.

I thought it was affair price considering what things cost these day's. They are being flipped on the auction sites for much more.

This will be the 3rd run of them that Grice has gotten in this year. You can put a deposit on them, and I believe they are due to be in the store the middle of October. They’ve been selling them as fast as they get them in. They’re all the blued/synthetic version.
Oh, and believe it or not, deer bite. Fairly hard.
