I will never understand the idea of a shortbox pickup....

That and the new ones sit up so ridiculously high that you can't reach in to grab anything!
(damn wannabee redneck Home Depot grocery store yuppies anyway.....grin)

add, the beast is an old, spoiled Maltese poodle cross.
(there goes my street cred.....)

Richard, I am not sure what you are asking.

J?

WI, bird numbers on the riverbottom are as low as I have ever seen them. At least on our place anyway. I hear some guys have birds but can't figure out why we don't.

We walked the jungle yesterday morning. It's a 9 year old sandbar that has grown in quite nicely with all kinds of vegetation. Flushed one young rooster and Rancho got him.

Bird numbers 3-4 miles away on a spring fed creek bottom are below normal but there are a few around. I got one bird and Rancho took two. Between the two of us 4 birds in a day and a half. 4 birds in 4 shots(brag...), no dog and that really makes flushing them much harder. Had a couple roosters take off behind me yesterday...

Friday evening.

M, no smokin' in the pickup!

Did Rancho spring for that Monte?

He only texts when he has a gun pricing question. Freakin' a-hole.

'bama is much like jawja. there's the north, middle, and south ends.

the north is mountains (hills to some of y'all).

the middle is piedmont landscape.

the south is coastal plain.
