Some of the Indians/Native Americans had a reputation of being very friendly? The Creek (Muskogee) tribes in the Southeast had a very interesting marriage system. The women owned the homes and associated property and inherited from their mothers. The women managed the households; the men hunted, fished, made war and babies. The men and women worked together to farm corn, beans, and squash. The women taught their daughters all the skills needed. The women's brothers taught the sons how to do man's work. A woman could divorce her man anytime if he mistreated her, or failed to provide. If there was no cause, she could still divorce him during the annual Green Corn Festival, then take her pick of any man available. Paternity didn't matter, because the woman and her brothers would raise the kids. So, as a man your parenting job was to teach your sisters' boys how to farm, hunt, fish, fight and fornicate. Since paternity issues weren't important, the women could be quite adventurous. As a result of this system, a lot of new blood would be introduced from other villages and cultures.

And what is the accuracy of genetic testing when it gets down to less than 1%? Or 2% ?

DNA websites cast broad net for identifying people, study said (AP NEWS) - A new study estimates that about 60 percent of the U.S. population with European heritage may be identifiable from their DNA by searching consumer websites, even if they've never made their own genetic information available.
That number is expected to grow as more and more people upload their DNA profiles to websites that use genetic analysis to find relatives.
The estimate was reported in Thursday's issue of the journal Science. Researchers arrived at it by doing searches within a website database containing 1.28 million people.
Website searches made headlines earlier this year, when investigators linked crime-scene DNA to a man they then accused of being a serial murderer and rapist known as the Golden State Killer.
